Attributes are used to fill in certain
product properties. The best way to demonstrate this is with an example.
Manufacturer is an example of a categorization property that applies to all products. When looking at a particular product such as the
iPod Shuffle 1GB the manufacturer property is filled in with the value
Apple. The
Apple attribute then becomes it's own item which can have articles, images, links and threads associated with it, as well as a corresponding description. So for Apple there would be a description about the company.
