Vista Basic is very stable with the unusually higher specs on this netbook.

Cons

Battery Life isn't generous to anything past two hours.
Radeon X1270 isn't useful for gaming at all (unless it's two dimensional).
Processor is an off-roadmap Athlon 64... Doesn't support Cool 'n Quiet or scaling by default. Linux runs at full blast and drains your battery.
