I wonder if it's good to do this for 'software' in general. New versions are always coming out that dramatically change the applications. Sometimes a pro/con might only be specific to a version.
For example we could have a base entry for pidgin the subentries for pidgin releases.
I don't know if this is needed though. Maybe it would be easier to just alter the pros/cons/writeup for the latest version of the software.
