I checked out your lens. It must be the longest I've ever seen.

Are you asking if anyone has a Squidoo lens? I made a primitive one back in the day, but it isn't very good: http://www.squidoo.com/ProductWiki/. ProductWiki also has Squidoo Offers in the shopping category: http://www.squidoo.com/browse/offers/shopping

Seems you have a pretty high ranking lens. Any advice?

Yes, sure :) If anyone has lenses and needs 5 star clicks Id be happy to visit. I just gave you 5 stars. In fact I found out about this wonderful site on squidoo. Ive also voted for your squidoo offer a while back :)

My suggestion is good content, guestbook, stumbleupon your wiki page, and promotion around the internet. My boostingebaysales is my highest rated lens, as its the one I put the most work into so far and the topic I know most about.

I too started a squidoffer this week, if anyone has a moment Id greatly appreciate votes on it. Its in the: http://www.squidoo.com/browse/offers/education category titled Boost your eBay Sales with the Neon Green picture next to it.

Thanks in advance!

I just started a new lens for kicks: http://www.squidoo.com/erikspicks. Squidoo has definitely improved their UI. Making a lens was actually pretty easy, and kind of fun. They have a good selection of modules, but I think they should have a blog module. It would be pretty easy to do.

On a related note, Squidoo is taking a beating in the blogosphere.

I find squidoo very educational, of course there will always be naysayers...

I hope it continues to do well and evolve.

Nice lens :) 5 starred it :)

Bust away. I like Squidoo, and its obvious that Arrington and TC have it out for them.

I think the Squidoo spam problem is a symptom of a deeper problem on the Internet that I think stems from the concept of the "search engine algorithm" that we all take for granted. Because doing well in search is necessary to succeed on the web for so many businesses (both legit and otherwise) creates a *HUGE* market for SEO. Do you blame the SEOs or do you blame the Internet infrastructure itself? While I hate spam, I think SEOs are merely responding the free market, and that problem of spam starts from the top. Don't hate the player, hate the game.

I try not to worry about all the bloggers, news articles and techie stuff & make the most of the tools available to me on the internet. For instance if I read all the articles etc about eBay on the internet I wouldnt have the motivation to continue to build my eBay store. Its only in my spare time Ill briefly browse through articles about the communities I participate in and only to find information that would help me improve my business. Ill leave all the extra stuff to everyone else :)

For the most part I dont recall coming across much spam on squidoo. I think theres enough areas on the internet to rank that if google decides to not rank well anymore there are other options. eBay finally realized that and they pulled back on most of their google advertising.
