'Where to buy' help

Hi Erika. The Where to Buy section is one area of ProductWiki that cannot be added to/or modified by the community directly. We have a partnership with Shopping.com / eBay that provides real-time pricing information across the site. Typically, our policy is not to let merchants add links to their store because of the vulnerability to spam, however, there are some strict exceptions. We can allow a merchant to add an external link to their if 1) the product is notable (think MacBook Air notable), and 2) there is no Where to Buy information on the page and the merchant in question is the only merchant that sells the product.

I don't know for sure, but I believe the "Where to Buy" section is auto generated - or it is an admin function (only).  Normally it takes a day or two to crawl or get updated on links for that.  If I'm wrong I'm sure I will get corrected /grin.

The external links are normally not deleted unless they are not relevant (spam) and such. I do external links to sites where you can get really good prices, or find hard to find items all the time. 

If you have a store may I suggest you update your profile to include the link in your profile page; that will/may help, and try adding the external links again (if direct product links will not work, you will just have to use the homepage for the store).

Lastly, odd hours by odd people -- IE: responses can be slow at times on boards like this, you were not being ignored - and if I said something that is incorrect, or did not explain well enough I'm sure someone will correct me. (I'm here this morning as I needed to kill some time and was tired of Solitare!! heh)
