Costumes for Halloween

People still dress up for Halloween right?

I know that I haven't dressed up in a long time, but I have to admit that I definitely want to.  So I'm looking for some good costume ideas.  We just added a bunch of costumes to the site which people can check out here.

The one thing is that I'm not cool with gory/scary costumes, that's not really my style.  Superhero costumes, while I definitely appreciate them on other people, I don't really want to wear myself.  I really like the clever kind of costumes, especially ones that are simple but memorable.

Who am I kidding, I'm just gonna go as a Ninja.

This halloween I plan to wear a black suit, black sunglasses, and a huge orange affro wig. O, ya. Whats better than dressing up, running around at night causing mischief, and getting candy for it? Any other time of the year you do this you would be arested.

The guard goons from Batman Begins look awesome (the ones dressed up in full body armour). But I think it's just as nerdy as dressing up as a ninja (unless of course you are a ninja, then you can just kill everyone and not have to listen to their laughter).

Oh man, the Super Ninjas at the end of the movie were the greatest characters depicted on screen.  Ever.  Whenever I see someone wearing a costume though, even a ninja one, is whether it's comfortable.  Maybe it's too hot, or it chaffes their legs.  I really liked that part in Spiderman 2 when Spidey is in the elevator and the guy goes "Nice Spiderman costume" and he replies that it's pretty hot.  That's real.

I'm pretty much a fan of anything from kid's TV in the 80s, even early 90s. Think He-Man, Transformers, and Thundercats. My brother has a good idea for a costume, but I don't want to give it away (think Brain, Penny).

Can you pull off Liono?

80s cartoons are a fantastic resource for costume ideas.  Though this was from the 90s...

I think I could pull off the hair.  I'm just not sure about the white boots.
