I've seen some community members requesting features that they would like to see implemented, bugs fixed, or aspects of the website that they would like to see improved. Please list any ideas you have in this discussion.

I have sent comments about both of these, but I will say them again anyway. First, the ability to delete a few, or all, of the comments off of your page. Second, I would like to have a feature that allows you to organize your taps (putting them into categories that you make yourself). And what about a user friends list? Thats really all I can think of. Everything else is totally fine, and these are just my little nitpicky suggestions.

Nice fix for the overcrowded comments on user pages. Its much more managable when only ten show up out of 55.

I'll second silence's request to have the ability to create your own custom lists. Then by providing both the RSS feed and Pflop for a custom list, you would extend good functionality for users. For example, I could then provide the RSS list to friends and family for a "Wish" list. Or simply create a Pflop on my blog for the "Wish" list.

Erik, as you know I have many more and as time permits I can post them here. I'm tired now so I'll be back. But I'll also mention that it took me a while to find this page. I had seen it a few days ago and the only way I was able to find it again was by knowing you created it and going through your edit history. It's going to be hard for people to contribute to this thread based on that.

@krynsky: We already have the functionality for providing custom lists as RSS or PFLOP. Take a look at my RSS feed for things that I've tagged as "cool":

http://www.productwiki.com/user__erik/lists_rss/gbl-tap-cool/

When you click on the tag cloud labelled "My Stuff" on your user page, you are able to filter your stuff. For each tag, there is a PFLOP and an RSS feed.

I think what silence is asking for is a level above the tap to categorize your tap/tag labels. I see that del.icio.us does something similar.

I like any ideas around giving more control to the user surrounding there user page. Make it easier for them to navigate the stuff they've tapped. Right now, it can be difficult to find stuff, especially older items.

How do you feel about having the product categories automatically show up on your user page for further filtering? (In proportion to what you've tapped) For example, you will see "digital cameras" or "robots" and then you can do things like look at all "robots" that I "love". (I love almost all robots, btw)

Love the suggestions, keep 'em coming!

I would prefer you create your own categories to organize taps, but that would be cool. It would work just as well.

Your OWN categories eh? Hrm... you can make your own categories with the "tag" portion of the tap-it, as you make ample use of Silence! So when you say your own categories, can you be a bit more specific?

Ok, I mean like having a heading that you can place taps under. So if you want to look at all of your video game taps, simply click that heading and you can see all of the taps that fall under the video games category. You could further organize this so that you can see just Nintendo or just Microsoft video games. I like to see what I've tapped before, but I'm not a fan of sifting through all of the other stuff that I tapped. Having these different categories would simplify the location and organization of your favorite taps.  In my opinion this would encourage people to look at your previous taps.

Gotcha. This will be done. I'll do my best to make it sooner rather than later as well.
