Thanks for all the bug reporting, folks. We'll get to fixing them ASAP. Keep 'em coming. (Yes, I know the RSS issue is getting annoying...it's annoying me too!)
@dialup: I like the idea of putting a whole bunch of our best users like you, Jan, silence omo7, other on that page in a list on the "community" page. It'll help connect new users with our seasoned veterans. If anyone wants to to take the lead and start that section in the article, please feel free.
@Jan: fantastic wishlist ideas overall. I really like the pro/con suggestion dropdown idea, especially.

Community article is edit protected. Looks like you'll have to do it. By the way, I like the Office 2007 look in the text editor.

Oh, I didn't realize. I'll unprotect it, now.
The text editor is the latest version of FCKEditor. They do a fantastic job, and a lot of the big sites are using it.

bug
- can't use ' in external links title
- sometimes when you submit external links you need to add it twice for it to appear on the page
wish
- to-do page, includes everything that needs to be done on the wiki
- ability to edit multiple products at once

We got around to fixing a few annoying things.
- RSS issues have been fixed
- We've tweaked the algorithm driving the "top picks"
- Competitors and Related products now show up on product history tab
- larger comment text boxes on product page and user messaging
- website URL clearing problem on the user settings page (http:// thing)
- we've re-introduced popular products to categories in top picks with very little voting
- product contributor count now updates with related and competitor adds
- increased "recent changes" caching refresh rate
We're still working on a few things, but we wanted to fix some of the worst offenders.

wish
- better revisions comparisons with clearer changes made
- automatic link parsing
- "view last post" forum links to save a few page loads
- "show post" feature when replying/editing a topic, brings users to what they just edited or replied to instead of topic first page
- drop-down selection of default edit summaries, show custom as hidden
- multiple categories per product

A few bugs I've noticed (and we're working on):
- "watchlist" on your user page isn't working
- sometimes the count doesn't appear properly on competitor voting (6 votes instead of 7 for example)
- no paging on recent changes when filtering on "taps"
Something I'd like to see in the next release:
- bring back some form of diffing of product reports (at least the descriptions)

wish
- new product report checkboxes: "check here if you copied copyrigted marketing material from the manufacturer's website" and "Check here if you have written the product description in first person" - this is to simplify and streamline the edition/inclusion of notices

Bug(?)/Suggestion: When ya try to enter a price as a 'range' IE: Product1 ranges in price from xx.xx - xxx.xx , it performs a math function.
I just put up a wiki to the PNY memory stick, a new line they have, and they range in price by size (kinda misleading to put the lowest price and the wiki pictures the big stick) tried to range the price and it did a math function and wouldn't accept text. Will edit the page to note price range in the description, but maybe something we(?) need?

wish
- report to moderator
- standards (included within the "start report" page
- manufacturer competitors
- multiple untaps from profile tags
- better reply system with user comments, trackable reply. or maybe show the reply on the same page instead of directing the user to the other users (the one that first left the message) page.
