There are worse role models to have.  He's always calm, cool and collected, and a great leader to the team.  He's an honourable family man.  He hasn't squandered his talent and is managing his wealth intelligently.  And he's one of the greatest football players to ever live!

The Man.  The Legend.  Zidane.

I'll be sure to make another one for Italy on sunday, don't you worry.  And Erik, a WW2 reference would have been far more fitting.

Actually, this world cup has been quite boring except for the Nike Joga commercials.

Congratulations Italy!

I disagree solidchecker. This World Cup was fantastic. Germany did a great job hosting, and the media did a great job covering. I watched almost every game on my HDTV.

Why do you think it was boring? Because Brazil was eliminated? They've been winning far too much lately anyway.

Oh ya, and the adidas commercials with the two kids playing pickup with the pros were awesome too!

The entire tournament was absolutely fantastic.  There were a few matches that I could have gone without, most of the ones that Switzerland played, and the ridiculous England & Portugal match with 20 cards shown.  Most games were a great demonstration of skill and ability, and provided fans with some really great entertainment.
