"I agree - free applications, including GIMP, have come a long way and hopefully will keep the big players (Adobe, in this instance) on their toes. GIMP is fabulous for dabblers or folks who simply want to do more with their digital photos and art but don't want to spend a hunk of dough. However, when more

"I originally played this on the PS2 and bought it for the Wii. I really like this game - I am a big Marvel fan and its fun to have a wide range of heroes to choose from. You can build a wide variety of teams, different combinations resulting in different stat boosts. Game play is more

"(*Note: the only Mariokart games I have played are N64 and DS) I just got this game yesterday. My first impression is good! A bit more play-time will be needed to get a good feel for it. At first I was wary because I am so used to my DS version and the differences between the more

"Does anyone have a general list of what games *would* be compatible with the Zapper? I know that Resident Evil 4 won't work due to the button config, for instance. I am really interested in getting both the Zapper and another of the lightguns made for the Wii but have hesitated due to the lack of more

"wow, cool - thanks! I hope I can be a helpful contributor to the site. :) Yeah, the Vibram FiveFingers aren't much for fashion - you should SEE the looks I get at the grocery store and post office! But I gotta say, they literally fit like a glove and are simply the best shoes I more

"I bought the "Big Box" edition (includes "Traders & Builders", "Inns & Cathedrals", "Towers", and "Princess & the Dragon" expansions) before ever having played Carcassonne. I already owned and played Settlers of Catan so knew what to expect in terms of learning curve of these games. The first playthrough was a bit rough but we caught more

"I own Settlers of Catan and all of its expansions - it is by far my favorite game and remains a favorite among my friends as well. The rules seem daunting at first, true, but after one game new players tend to catch on quickly. I think the modular aspect of the board is what makes more

"I own a pair of the Surge model FiveFingers, the direct predecessor (now discontinued) to these shoes. They are my only (so far) pair of FiveFingers; I bought them specifically for the warmth and protection of the Neoprene fabric. To specifically comment on the Neoprene, it definetly keeps your feet warm in cooler weather. As long more

I am a life-long Alaskan who is half-outdoorswoman, half-geek and proud of it. I work as a graphic designer and digital illustrator. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, camping, trail biking, Geocaching, watching anime, playing boardgames and Wii, and playing accoustic guitar and the accordion.

I tend to prefer items in the sci-fi/fantasy and foreign genres, post-apocalyptic and steampunk realms, darkwave and gothic metal music. Though these are my favorites, my tastes range far; I appreciate unique and well implemented elements to any creation. :)

That's great to hear. From what I've seen, people who have a pair of Vibrams love them. Not everyone can pull it off, though. :) Do you run with them as well?

Wow! Great work. I've promoted a couple of your reports to the front page. Moderators pick reports to get featured in the "New Reports" and "Report of the Day" section fairly regularly.

I still think those Vibram shoes are strange :)
