"I've been a fan of Columbia hiking boots for some time, having gone through dozens of cheaper brands in my youth and finding them to all be shoddy excuses for footwear. I'd pretty much replaced most of my shoes with Vibram FiveFingers but this summer I had to have a pair of "real shoes" for more

"I noticed a LOT of redundant pros and cons on this and a few other products. In the Fallout 3 report this mainly has to do with the DownLoad Content (DLC) being mentioned several times as well as some comments individually itemizing game elements into "pros" rather than using a blanket pro such as "Many in-game more

"We have one of these at our office and it is a joy to use. We've gone through dozens of Eureka and Dirt Devil vacuums at my house and none could of held a candle to this Dyson. Its lightweight build without sacrificing suction is the biggest wow factor for this machine, closely followed by how more

"Haha - I have *actually* tried a pair of these on once for laughs! Pink and fluffy! I saw them at a Nordstrom's Rack for much less than $299. They were like giant boot-shaped slippers, soft and fluffy - not something you'd wear in warm weather. They are very impractical, however, with no way to more

"I've never used CorelDRAW, though now I know it is no longer available for Mac I know why. CorelDRAW was something everyone laughed at in college and is equally poo-pooed in the design circles I know but from what I've read this is not because DRAW isn't a capable application (it is) but because Corel more

I am a life-long Alaskan who is half-outdoorswoman, half-geek and proud of it. I work as a graphic designer and digital illustrator. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, camping, trail biking, Geocaching, watching anime, playing boardgames and Wii, and playing accoustic guitar and the accordion.

I tend to prefer items in the sci-fi/fantasy and foreign genres, post-apocalyptic and steampunk realms, darkwave and gothic metal music. Though these are my favorites, my tastes range far; I appreciate unique and well implemented elements to any creation. :)

Hey howlsthunder,

We'd like to make you a moderator and give you some more power. I'll look into the details and make sure it gets done tomorrow if it hasn't been already. Don't feel pressured to do anything you don't want, though! You're a great contributor who keeps coming back for more, and this is just our way of letting you know we appreciate it.

P.S. if only 1 or 2 people vote on a redundant point it shouldn't effect the overall score of the product. Some people might really love having a pet robot, who knows? We like to think most people can see a point is redundant and either leave it alone or vote it down. In my experience I only delete points I find abusive, wrong or just plain silly, like 'I love it' / 'these cons aren't important to me' etc... You might annoy somebody by deleting a perfectly valid one - even if you might think it's redundant. I also sometimes change points - to add more depth / different related details.

Anyway! Feel free to e-mail/gtalk/PM me here and I can walk you through some of the mod tools if you don't find them very intuitive.

Hey Howlsthunder,

Both 'current version' and 'Supported Operating System(s)' have been added to all software entries thanks to Jan. Thanks for the input!

That's great to hear. From what I've seen, people who have a pair of Vibrams love them. Not everyone can pull it off, though. :) Do you run with them as well?

Wow! Great work. I've promoted a couple of your reports to the front page. Moderators pick reports to get featured in the "New Reports" and "Report of the Day" section fairly regularly.

I still think those Vibram shoes are strange :)
