HP G60-519WM

The HP G60-519WM Pavilion is an ultra-affordable Windows 7 notebook built exclusively by HP for Walmart. It was initially released on November 27th, 2009 (Black Friday) for only $298.00. It features an Intel Celeron processor, 3GB of DDR2 RAM, and a 250GB SATA hard-disc drive. Included are a plethora of fun-filled features like a DVD drive that supports custom Lightscribe labels; a 15.6” BrightView screen that can handle movies up to 1366x768; and Altec Lansing speakers for listening to music. Most notable about the G60-519WM is that it supports three total Internet options: WiFi, Ethernet, AND even old-school modem. Additional features include pre-packaged software suites like Microsoft Office, Norton Internet Security, and Cyberlink DVD Suite.

I've had it less than a day (this is my 1st laptop) and it's already locked up forcing me to Cntl+Alt+Del - nothing too odd for Microsoft I guess. I"m still glad I got it as its a great value.
