$620.00 Released February, 2010

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Connects to any available WiFi network easily, gets a strong signal. Webcam works great, ideal for teleconferencing. Fast, clear picture that's great to watch video on - fast moving subjects render without blur.

The Cons:Comes with a lot of bloatware that needs to be uninstalled. Battery lasts under 2 hours with normal use. Internal mic won't work right unless you manually update the driver.

The HP G60-630us is an entry-level Windows 7 laptop released in early 2010. It utilizes the same design as previous G60 models, such as a full-sized keyboard and a recessed touchpad, but media controls and a remote are not included.

What is included, however, is a 2.2GHz Intel Pentium Dual-Core processor and 3GB of DDR2 RAM, both of which PC Magazine reports as rendering lackluster performance with poor benchmark test results. Other notable features include a 15.6” display with vivid colors, a 320GB HDD, and integrated Altec Lansing speakers. One major drawback to the G60-630us lies in its connectivity, which is fairly limited (3 USB, 1 HDMI, 1 VGA) and doesn’t include any support for eSATA, FireWire, or memory cards.
