HP G62x
$530.00
Released November, 2010
The Pros:Enough processing power to handle video editing tools. Can display HD video without stutter or blurring, very sharp. Handles multitasking of office applications and web browsers smoothly.
The Cons:Driver problems with the wireless access make gaining a connection difficult at times. Light greys tend to wash out, difficult to see grid in Excel. Shortcut keys are in an unintuitive position, seem like an unnecessary add-on.
The HP G62x is a 15.6” LED laptop released as an upgrade from the G62m and G62t models. As the top unit in the series, it trades away its peers’ Celeron and Pentium Dual-Core CPUs in favor of a faster and better performing Intel Core i3 processor.
