Not many quality monitors these days, especially ones that have a sane price. While this is still a bit too expensive for my blood (here in Canada it sells for between $700-800), this is what I'm looking at for my next monitor. Hopefully by the time I'm willing to commit I can get a 24-30" model with comparable specifications for $600-700.

I bought this monitor to replace my HP w2207h 22' screen (which replaced my 17' Acer AL1716 TFT screen, which replaced my Compaq 16' CRT monitor, which was thrown out)

I have a PS3 hooked up on it and a DVD player, both are connected via a Sony STR-KS1100 AV-receiver with HDMI.

I use the PS3 to play games, but also to play back my HD camcorder (1080i) footage and photos. My current PC is a little slow for that. So color accuracy was important to me.

Compared to other TN (Twisted Neumatic) TFT screens, the image quality is just much and much better. The view angle is much wider, blacks are black and there is no bleeding in from the side.

I am not a TFT screen professional, I was just a little disappointed with the performance of my HP w2207h screen when it comes to blacks, noise, banding and bleeding in from the sides.

All in all, this is a very professional screen, with all the input connections, how it is build, the image quality, the fact that you can view multiple input signals via picture in picture, but it looks very good as a home theater screen. Blu-ray movies look very lifelike, and I enjoy my pictures more because of the color accuracy.
