The HP Officejet Pro K8600dn is a moderately priced injet printer offered by HP that is designed for a small office environment. It has a maximum print speed of 35 pages per minute (ppm), and can put out 10 ppm in color at comparible quality to a laser printer. It is capable of a color print resolution of up to 4800 x 1200 dpi, which is supplied by four ink cartriges; black, cyan, magenta and yellow. The input tray can handle up to 250 sheets, with an output tray capable of 150 sheets. It is capable of printing on many media types and sizes, including envelopes, transparencies, photo media, cards, etc. It can be connected with a high speed USB 2.0 port or with the HP Jetdirect Fast Ethernet embedded print server, and also has optional connectivity with HP Jetdirect external print servers.
