The Pavilion dv2700t is a series of 14.1" mid-range notebook computers from Hewlett Packard. Several processor options are available, all of them Intel Core 2 Duo chips. The display is a 14.1" WXGA HD Brightview with a resolution of 1280x800 dpi. The graphics adapter that comes with the basic model is an Intel GMA X3100, and the option for an NVIDIA GeForce 8400M with 128MB dedicated video memory is available. Webcam and fingerprint-reader are available options. Wireless connectivity is included, using the Intel PRO/Wireless a/b/g/n system, and Bluetooth support is optional. The optical drive is a SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-R/RW with Double Layer Support, and Lightscribe or Blu-Ray ROM are optional upgrades. The operating system is Windows Vista Home Premium (32 or 64-bit), and Vista Ultimate 64-bit is an optional upgrade. HP's Quickplay is included, allowing for 1-click access of media files. A 5-in-1 flash-memory card reader is optional. The basic battery is a 6-cell LiOn, and a 12-cell LiOn is available as well. 2 USB connections are included, as well as Firewire, S-Video output, IR, HDMI 1.3 output and VGA output.
