The Cons:Well-known chipset issue is likely to cause severe overheating and fry your processor. Fairly chunky and heavy at over 5 lbs. for a 14" laptop. Very limited battery life--2 hours max from full charge.

The dv4-2140us is a mid-range entertainment notebook from HP's Pavilion dv4 Series.  The laptop is designed with a 14.1" widescreen HD LED-backlit display with HP's BrightView technology and a 1280 x 800 pixel resolution.
