This is a horrible machine. Don't think of buying it or you make sure that you have a good weeping practice. I bought HP 1131 TX in Nov-08, looking at its trendy looks, decent specifications and moreover thinking this is an HP product (so must be decent enough to go for). But the company has been fooling its customer ignoring a major design flaw in the product. The laptop has a mild current leak all over its body as soon as the power cord is plugged in and its gets okay when the power cord is removed and operated in the battery mode. I made a complaint to HP regarding the same to which they allotted me a DOA (dead over arrival) letter, and replaced my model with a new one but seems like this is a major manufacturing flaw as the problem persists in the new replaced piece also. In fact not only in the body of laptop, you may experience the same current in your other devices like Mobile/PDA if it's connected through the laptop's USB port. The current sensation vanishes as soon as the power cord is plugged out and operated in battery mode. And to add more it has a poor battery life of 2 hrs... Please be aware that this is a mild current sensation that you might ignore at the time of purchasing, but still would recommend to check it once at the dealer place itself after plugging in the power cord and touching the corners of the screen. Make sure to roll over your hand sensitively at the back side of the screen. Still, I would strongly recommend all to explore more models before investing such heavy amount on a non sense machine.. :(
