HP Pavilion dv6-2180us
$880.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Decent performance even with somewhat dated specs--can handle modern games at DirectX 10 with moderate settings. Spacious, fairly fast 500GB 7200rpm hard drive--something often lacking even from today's laptops. Excellent inputs/outputs/connection options--VGA, HDMI, 4USB/ieSAT USB, etc.
The Cons:Dated specs--AMD Turion II processor and DDR2 RAM. Fairly chunky and heavy compared to more modern offerings. Gets very hot after a while of use, sometimes to the point of overheating.
