Product Shot 1 The Pros:Outer case is solid, doesn't flex when opened or feel like it will crack. Plays videos smoothly, full screen with no stutter or blurring. Gaming is good, can run everything at medium settings and a few things at high settings.

The Cons:Frequent reliability issues reported with various internal components. Generates a lot of heat, fan tends to have to run all the time. Printing on the keyboard keys tends to rub off.

The dv7-3160us is a mid-range entertainment laptop from HP's Pavilion dv7 Series.  The laptop is designed with a large 17.3" widescreen HD+ LED-backlit display that  utilizes ATI Radeon HD4530 graphics for gaming or watching movies.
