Product Shot 2 This is a step up from the HP Pavilion dv6t Series, expanding the screen area to 17.3 inches and carrying with it a 2 year warranty. While other specifications are the same, the larger screen is a larger drain on the battery shortening its expected lifespan. The design features a chiclet-style keyboard with a full numeric keypad, and the exterior is rendered in a dark umber metallic finish with an option for steel gray. Audio is supported through Premium Beats technology, which uses 4 separate speakers and a triple bass subwoofer to create a sense of surround sound. A fingerprint scanner is built in to help with passwords, and HP ProtectSmart hard drive protection ensures that the hard drive is locked when a fall is detected.
