The HP Pavilion p6310f is a mid-range multimedia desktop. Featuring a 15-in-1 card reader, the p6310f is notable for its extensive list of supported media formats. The HP MediaSmart software package is included, aiming to simplify photo slideshows, music playlists, video editing and sharing, and CD burning.

The desktop is equipped with a 2.8GHz AMD Athlon II X4 quad-core processor and 6 GB of DDR3 RAM, enabling strong performance in demanding media applications and multitasking. The computer is not intended for gaming, however, with only integrated graphics. The p6310f supports 7.1-channel surround sound, and features a DVI output for displaying photos and HD video on an external display in high quality.
