The HP Photosmart B8550 is a 2008 high end Photo printer that can print up to a tabloid size (13x19") and retails at $300. This piece has been highly praised by critics and has received the PC Magazine editors choice. Unlike higher end printers that are designed to print on a range of fine art papers, it's essentially limited to using HP's Advanced photo paper. Within those limits, however, it prints gorgeous output at large size. It also has some consumer oriented features that can't be found in the B9180 and the B8850 models: the ability to print directly from a USB key, memory card, or PictBridge camera, plus an LCD to let you preview photos before printing. Professionals don't need this because printing directly from a computer gives them more control
