The Pros:Display hinges are made of metal rather than plastic and feel sturdy. Shortcut buttons along the top of the keyboard are LED capacitive buttons which looks nice and works well. Keyboard feels solid, sports a full num pad.

The Cons:Very plain, bulky form factor is kind of ugly compared to the rest of HP's recent notebooks. Space is wasted on a mini-FireWire port--something that never really took off. Comes pre-installed with Windows 7 32-bit despite having 4GB of RAM.
