The HP ProLiant DL160 G5 server is a 1U, dual processor capable server for general purpose and high performance computing, where consumer can design a fully customized solution. It comes in the mid range of the HP ProLiant server series. This machine targets small and medium size businesses especially those in the web 2.0 fields. It is especially suited for infrastructure, file/print, and web serving. The DL160G5 comes with 3 new processor options: the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® X5470 processor (3.33 GHz with 1333MHz FSB) and the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® X5482 processor (3.2 GHz with 1600MHz FSB) and the Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® L5430 processor (2.66 GHz with 1333MHz FSB), increasing flexibility for consumers to select a processor befitting their needs. It supports up to 1600MHz Front Side Bus, 12MB Level 2 cache, and up to 64GB system memory supported, which provides for a pretty solid data throughput rate.
