The HP ProLiant DL320 G5p Server is an enterprise rack-optimized server. It comes at the very low end of the HP ProLiant G5 server series, and is priced as an entry level server ($1,104 only). This server is equipped with one processor only, the 1U, making it suitable for single-application IT infrastructure, web, and edge of network application. The target market is Enterprise datacenters, internet or Telco providers that need to dedicate servers to specific applications or customers. It is also suitable for growing companies with remote locations or co-located servers Despite its price and level, it is equipped with a remote console and virtual KVM offered by the embedded iLO-2, coupled with the management features of SIM and deployment capabilities of SmartStart and other Proliant Essentials software, which gives it enterprise class managemenet features in par with its siblings in the same server series.
