It has 2-socket Intel® Xeon® performance, and 2U density for a variety of rack deployments and applications. It took the #1 2P performance spot on Siebel CRM Release 8.0 Benchmark Industry Applications running Windows with 5,200 users. It defeated the IBM system x3850 with more than 33% of the users in the same test. It comes with a Intel Xeon Dual-Core processor (X5270), and can handle up to two of them. It can handle up to 64GB of 667MHz DDR2 Fully-buffered DIMMs; with interleaving, mirrored memory and online spare capability. It is easily connected to storage networks and easily managed from any location. It offers integrated VMware and XenServer virtualization technology. This way of distributing virtualization technology enables fast, straight forward virtual deployments with a consistent and reliable ProLiant experience.
