The HP PSC 1315 is a basic color inkjet printer/scanner combination designed for home use and with multi-function capabilities. It has a flatbed color scanner on the top that can also act as a photocopier (even in color). The print rate maximum is 17 pages per minute in black, and 12 in color in draft mode. Maximum color resolution is 4800 x 1200 dpi. It can also print directly from PictBridge-enabled digital cameras, and comes with several software programs that can perform basic editing on scanned documents or photos, or scale photocopies. The scanner has 256 grayscale layers and an enhanced scan resolution of 19200 dpi. It can use a maximum of three cartridges, one black, one tri-color and optional photo cartridge.
