Product Shot 1 The Pros:Capable of very sharp and easy to read text. Fast enough response for gaming purposes, no stutter or blur. Colors are bright and stand out, makes it easier to spot movement in games.

Additionally, the S2231 sports an anti-glare screen coating as well as VGA and DVI-D (with HDCP) inputs.

The S2231's 1000:1 contrast ratio provides it with dark blacks and bright whites while its 15,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio utilizes localized dimming to produce even darker blacks. Its 5ms response time provides the S2231 with improved gaming performance as it greatly reduces blurring and ghosting that can occur on similar 60Hz monitors with higher response times. Meanwhile, the S2231's VGA and DVI-D inputs allow users to choose either digital or analogue interfacing.
