The HP w2207h is the top of the line model in a series of monitors HP released in early 2007. The w2207h features a 22” widescreen display at a 16:10 aspect ratio, and a maximum resolution of 1680 x 1050. This design makes the w2207h ideal for multimedia, including viewing video, photo editing and gaming. This monitor can rotate from regular mode to portrait mode in order to view long documents or web pages. The contrast ratio is rated at 1000:1, meaning users will see distinct blacks and whites along with its 5-millisecond response time, which alleviates blurring with fast moving imagery. The w2207h can display both analog and digital content using the VGA or HDMI connection, respectively. A DVI adapter can be purchased separately. Other features include two 2-watt integrated speakers and low energy usage with Energy Star compliance. Users looking for a smaller or larger screen should look at the other monitors in the series; the w1907 or the w2007.
