The HP w2338h is a 23-inch Diagonal 16:9 HD Ready Widescreen Monitor released by HP in 2009. It's geared towards those who are more serious about gaming and entertainment, or just need more monitor real estate for work. It has a 16:9 aspect ratio which makes it deal for viewing movies in their original formats. The display can be optimized for movies, photos, or games with the Quick View mode. It has a 1920 x 1080p maximum resolution, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. Glare that has been usually seen on recent glossy screens is reduced in this system using the HP BrightView technology. Both digital and analog content can be displayed using DVI-D, HDMI (supports HDCP) and VGA connectivity.
