The HP Pavilion w2558hc is a 25.5-inch 1920x1200 wide-screen hdmi monitor with built-in webcam and with liquid crystal display (LCD) and thin-film transistor (TFT) screen. This display piece is geared toward those who need a large monitor for work, or are just serious video game players. This piece has a 2.0 megapixel webcam designed for low-light conditions, a built in 15-1 card reader to display photographs and videos, and an ambient light sensor that can automatically make screen adjustments based on room lighting conditions. It is also equipped with BriteView Technology enhances clarity and provides brilliant colors, and reduces glare that is common with modern monitors. Its native resolution is 1920x1200 pixels, which is quite large even for HD monitors. It compares to the Dell ULTRASHARP 2408WFP, a 24" monitor with a 1920x1200 display retailing at $650.
