new pro/con: easy to sync with system. once paired , it stays specific to that one ps3.
new pro/con: No dedicated power button so that you don't accidentally turn the system off while your watching a movie.

new pro/con: doesn't have the automatic synchronization that the official rock band 2 guitar has. where you just hold the guitar to the t.v. and it syncs itself
