The HTC Desire HD is a high-end smartphone similar to the HTC EVO 4G. Available only in Europe, the Desire HD offers similar hardware and functionality to the EVO 4G, most notably a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor and 4.3" LCD touchscreen as well as 768MB of RAM, an 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash, 720p video recording and 1.5GB of internal storage. Besides region availability, the main difference between the Desire HD and EVO 4G is the Desire HD's 'enhanced HTC Sense experience'.
The Desire HD's Qualcomm 1GHz second-generation Snapdragon processor and 768MB of RAM ensure a smooth experience, allowing it to handle even the most demanding apps and games available while sporting Android 2.2 ensures compatibility with all recent apps. Its 8 megapixel camera allows the Desire HD to capture high-resolution still images and 720p video on the go while a dual-LED flash ensures clarity in low lighting conditions. Meanwhile, the Desire HD's 'enhanced HTC Sense experience' allows users to, among other things, find their phone by way of HTCsense.com.
