The HTC EVO Shift 4G is a smartphone running the Android 2.2 operating system. This phone is one of the first designed to use WiMAX 4G connections on the newer high-speed 4G cell phone networks, and also has an EVDO Rev A for faster downlinks on 3G networks. The design follows closely the general look and feel of past HTC phones, and while the buttons have been refined since still closely resembles the HTC Dream. It uses a slide-out QWERTY keyboard and a 3.6 inch 800 x 480 LCD display, and is powered by a 1500mAh battery. Pictures can be taken with the built-in 5 megapixel camera, and video can be recorded in qualities up to 720p.
