The Cons:Runs Windows Mobile. A cramped, gimped (low resolution, processing power) version of the currently available HD2. No Friend Stream social media aggregator.

The HTC HD mini is a Windows Mobile handset announced at the 2010 Mobile World Congress as a miniature version of the HD2. It maintains its superior sibling’s HSPA/WCDMA/GSM/WiFi connectivity, but features a smaller 3.2” capacitive touchscreen and a lower 600MHz processor.

Product Shot 2 More importantly, the HD Mini hosts Windows Mobile version 6.5.3, which brings with it enhanced support for capacitive touchscreens, including multi-touch gesture support so that users can pinch/zoom in and out of web pages and photos. Included also is HTC’s proprietary Sense user interface, as well as the capability to turn the phone into a Wi-Fi hotspot using Wi-Fi functions.

Additional Information

Additional features include a 5MP camera with flash and auto-focus; Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity, and an integrated GPS receiver.
