Hypnotize is the fifth album by System of a Down, and is the companion of their previous album Mezmerize. The album was released six months after Mezmerize. The album has been certified as Gold and Platinum, and debuted at number 1 on Billboard 200. As an interesting side note, the album cover and booklet were made using recycled paper and soy inks. The words "We don't have to cut down forests to make paper anymore." can be read.
