The i-mate JAMA is targeted at first-time smartphone users, and offers several basic features for the 2G network, as it is only dual-band receptive, released in Asia. It has a 2.4"-diagonal, 65k-color touchscreen with stylus and handwriting recognition. It uses Windows Mobile 5.0 PocketPC, and includes Pocket Office document viewer and editor for Microsoft Office files. It is capable of MMS, SMS, email and instant messaging, and uses PocketIE to browse the Internet over WAP 2.0. The JAMA has a 2.0-megapixel digital camera with video capture, and Bluetooth wireless capabilities, as well as an mp3 and video player. Internal memory is 64MB of RAM, 128MB ROM, and there is a microSD card slot to expand.
