The i-mate JAQ3 is an upgraded version of the earlier i-mate JAQ. It is still a full-QWERTY touch-screen smartphone, though there are several updates. The main ones are that the JAQ3 has a 2.0-megapixel digital camera, with video capture, and that the JAQ3 has Wi-Fi-802.11g/b capabilities to access the Internet in Wi-Fi regions. There are also changes to the frame design. It still uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0, and includes PocketOffice document viewer and editor. It has Bluetooth wireless capabilities, handwriting recognition, and can send SMS, MMS, and email messages. It has an mp3 player and file manager as well. Battery life reaches 4 hours of talk time per charge.
