New pro/con: HDMI standards are to limit who can see and what/where it can be seen. HDMI is being adopted for its copyright-protection features which Movie and TV producers are requesting to publish via.

New pro/con: Sometimes slow to update screen after button presses, ie: track skip, FF/RWD, volume, sometimes locks out button presses, continues playing song, but unresponsive to buttons.

"The T42 used to be the standard workstation at all of IBM's internal callcenters, I bought mine while working for them. It is still running, 5 years later. Solid, solid laptop. Batteries and accessories widely available online."

New pro/con: Some display inputs/picture scaling settings are unpolished. Visible digital noise on the edges of settings "Native" and "4:3 HD"
