I don't think developers shy away from systems where the first-party developer is strong. I think they embrace it, as it assures the console will live on. Point 10 - The only reason those niche games have sold those numbers on the 360 is because the available selection of games on the 360 during this first year was pretty pathetic. Gamers thus went out and bought stuff they normally wouldn't have bought. I don't think you can say that Xbox gamers buy niche games.
