New pro/con: The GUI which appears on TV can be improved. The back speaker terminals dont take 10AWG wire hence bannana pugs/ connectors are required.
New pro/con: I got my Z7 in May 2009 and one thing I have to appreciate outright is the ease of setup and function. The build quality is very impressive. I have all the signals going into the receiver and I am letting the receiver do the processing; the sound and video outputs are exactly what you would expect from such a receiver - brilliant. The best feature is the ability to play pure 2ch stereo hi-fi from your audio source. Networking is very easy and the ability to control the receiver via a web browser is just bliss. iPod dock is very handy. On the whole this receiver has surpassed all of my expectations.
