You need to set your graphics resolution 1680 x 1050, however XP monitor plug and play doesn't recognized this as the native resolution and is not a selection in display resolution. My Viewsonic VX20 is recognized so don't know what gives here. Anycase you can try powerstrip which lets you add resolutions to the graphics driver. Once doing so, auto adjust on the monitor is very precise and accurate. Sometime is settles on the wrong alignment if something pops up on the screen while adjusting. You can only access is from the menu. The HD video is good enough, not great for a value priced monitor and the tuner does a decent job picking up analog and digital channel from the cable feed. I plan on using it as a monitor/TV for my son's room. It's a good value for that. Only which aspect ratio selection was more accessible. I takes four key strokes to get to the menu selection, it would be nice if it were a direct key. The 16:10 aspect ratio means all TV viewing is stretched vertically, unless you are watching a 4:3 source in widescreen mode.
