"I've had the 16gb version for about a month and I absolutely love it. I had a Creative Zen Vision W 30gb before which is very nice but big and bulky, truly a portable media player whereas the iPod Touch is smaller, slender, and weighs much less making it still more along the lines of an mp3 player with video. Hope that makes sense. The newest firmware update from Apple makes it so you can add/edit the calendar. I sync mine with Outlook on Windows XP without a problem. I also have hacked it with jalbreak and have added the iPhone apps Mail, Maps and Weather. I also use Apollo for IM. I found a web app, Joopz, which allows me to send and receive text messages on the device...it's pretty neat. My major gripe is that the Touch only works with iTunes and I hate iTunes. I use Media Monkey and while I sync my Touch with iTunes I still listen to my music with Media Money. I also wish there was more public access to wireless networks. When I was in California it seemed wireless networks were more open. I live in Massachusetts and you have to pay for access in many places. I can see why people love the iPhone. With the announcement of a 3g version coming out next year it makes me want one. I just wish someone besides AT&T offered it (that's a whole different story). I love my Touch plain and simple. For me it is a worthy investment."

"I would love this for my apartment complex so that we could use only a few broadband connections and set up repeaters to spread them through the complex. Everyone could pitch in to pay for the broadband access and get it at a much lower cost. Wishful thinking but a great idea."

"This looks interesting. I currently have the Sony STR-K660P which works fine for my apartment though I wouldn't mind a unit a little more powerful. Also, having 2 digital optical audio and 1 digital coax audio is a big benefit. The unit I have now doesn't support video though I would only run my video through this system if I was running out of HDMI and Component inputs on my t.v. (which is also Sony). I am getting there though especially if I add an Xbox. I'll keep an eye on this product."

I don't perform any magic anymore but do know a couple of parlor tricks that I pull out of my sleeve. The drunker the audience the better -- less likely to see my slip ups! I think it's a matter of preference on the movies. I just felt a more emotional pull with the Illusionist than with the Prestige. I just started reading the Prestige which I was told was nothing like the movie. Should be interesting.

I had a Dell Inspiron for over 4 years with no problems. I reformatted the hard drive once when I upgraded from Windows 98 to XP. I ended up giving it to my nephew and what finally killed it was a bomb in Afghanistan (my nephew is fine). I got an IBM Thinkpad T41 2 years ago through a special university discount and it has worked like a charm as well. The only thing is that I need to get a new battery but I had to do the same with the Dell after a couple of years of use. That's normal. Maybe I'm just lucky with laptops. It's desktops that always go on me...

I used to belong to the Society of American Magicians. I think my dad still does. My father used to perform magic shows to supplement his income to support his 8 children! His hands aren't as nimble as they used to be but he has amassed a collection of magic props like you wouldn't believe. Check out Magic Goodies just to see a few. eBay has a thriving auction community around magic props. I trained with a magician one summer, trying to follow in my father's footsteps and I did well when I performed for the senior citizen crowd, they were easy to please. I fell apart doing kids' birthday parties and put down my wand. I still enjoy magic but don't practice anymore. I'm a lapsed magician! I saw David Copperfield last year in Boston and he was pretty good though I expected more. I saw many magic shows when I was a kid and I think I had a child's view still of what to expect. I wasn't wowwed... I was too analytical and trying to figure out the trick instead of just enjoying the show. I have a DVD, David Copperfield Illusion, and it's pretty awesome. It has some of his most spectacular illusions. I loved the Illusionist because the movie was just that, an Illusion that drew me in. I wasn't as keen on the Prestige. It was good but it didn't have the flow and feel of what it described, the Pledge, the Turn and then the Prestige.

I would go 4 or 5 years without seeing the dentist because of my phobia. I remember the days of no novacaine and the pain. I have sensitive teeth where a cleaning can sent a few jolts of pain through me. Lucklily I have found a hygenist that is excellent and she doesn't chide me if I go a little longer than I should between cleanings -- I always hated the lectures, that would keep me away even longer. As I get older I realize how important it is to keep my natural teeth as long as I can. Most of my fillings are older and I have had some teeth break and go through having caps done. It's expensive but worth it. That reminds me, I need to make an appointment for a cleaning!

"I'm using the Maxtor Shared Storage II 300gb model and have been very happy. I store all of my music and video files on it and have no problem streaming content over my wireless network. It works seamlessley with my Roku Soundbridge M1001 Network Music Player which I also love. The Maxtor drive was very easy to set up on my Linksys network, has a nice user interface, automatic backup application and a built in media server. I run a printer off of one of the USB ports and that works pretty fast as well so I didn't have to go out and buy a USB printer server. It's been worth the investment that's for sure."

"Your site is way too easy to use! I'm having fun today, all play -- no work. BTW, I love Clicky for webanalytics. I use Google Analytics as well but find Clicky is easier to work with for basic site statistics and information on site visitors. I'm still using the free version but may pay the small yearly amount to get all of the features."
