The Integra DHS-8.8 is Integra's first-entry into the HD-DVD market. It is a high-end HD-DVD player that, most notably, (1) includes a HQV Reon-VX video processor that upscales content to 1080p, and (2) the ability to stream multiple high-definition audio formats including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. It has been timed with the release of the Integra DTR-8.8 a/v receiver and is designed to compliment its style and functionality.

Availability and Pricing
The DHS-8.8 will become available in early 2008 and has an MSRP of $1099. The DTR-8.8 receiver was released in September 2007 and can be found in stores now. Integra is a manufacturer of high-end home theater electronics and falls under the umbrella of Onkyo Corporation.
