The Integra DTA-9.4 is a 7-channel home theater power amplifier separate. It is a Class D switching amplifier with a higher efficiency, greater output capacity, and smaller footprint than a Class A/B amplifier. It is one of two current home theater "separates" from Integra and is designed to be coupled with the Integra DTC-9.8 pre-amplifier/processor. However, you can use this with any pre/pro separate or even an A/V receiver with pre-outs. The DTA-9.4 features 7 independent, full-bandwidth amplifier circuits, each with unbalanced RCA inputs, balanced XLR inputs, and speaker plugs. Each input and output connection is gold-plated, with the speaker output accepting thick spade plugs, heavy gauge speaker wire, and banana plugs. The manufacturer claims 120 Watts per channel into 8 ohm of RMS power when driving 2 channels.
