- fast speed
- dual core is all you generally need these days - very few applications are written to take full advantage of any more
- This processor is based off the k10 phenoms. It is actual a x4 with two cores turned off. You can there for OVERCLOCK this proc. faster than a quad core.
- affordable price

- high TDP - although fair, matches last generation while outperforming
- requires an AM2+ motherboard, regular AM2 users might not be able to take full advantage of this chip
