The T8100 codenamed "Penryn" features 3 MB of L2 cache, a core clock speed of 2.10 GHz, and a front side bus of 800 MHz. The CPU is on a 45nm die and contains 2 processor cores. Pros
- designed for laptops the 35W thermal envelope is perfect for those interested in silent computing
- faster than earlier high end mobile chips despite having slightly less L2 cache
- fairly affordable
Cons
- not as powerful as higher end and similarly priced
desktop models
- 45W AMD chips cost less than half as much
- not widely available
