The Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile Computer Processor is a new line of dual core processor designed for laptops that feature both power and energy efficiency. It uses new 64-bit architecture which enables twice the amount of information that the CPU can process at a time. It also features Dynamic Power Coordination which helps optimize the power usage to save power. The Core 2 Duo Mobile series also have Wide Dynamic Execution which improves the execution speed and efficiency of the processor, and with the exception of the certain processors in the series, most Core 2 Duo Processors have Virtualization Technology which allows one machine to operate as multiple “virtual” platforms. Unlike the Core 2 Duos for desktop PCs, the Core 2 Duo Mobile Processors do not feature Intel Trusted Execution Technology.
